Dr Naomi Hodgson will give a keynote lecture at this event to be held at KU Leuven, Belgium, in May 2018, during the Flemish Week of Parenting. The event, jointly organised by KU Levuen, Ghent University, and Hope’s Centre for Education and Policy Analysis, brings together sociologists, neuroscientists, philosophers, and educationalists to discuss what neuroscience means for education and upbringing, and the implications of the emerging ‘neurodiscourse’.
The event is open to a wide audience, including students, researchers/scholars, parenting practitioners, policy-makers, and also, of course, parents, and will also feature a public debate on the questions raised. For further details and information on how to register, see here.
